He who lives an orchestrated life never enjoys the symphony - J. Ferb

I may have posted a song or two from Memphis native Jamal Ferby, aka J. Ferb, before, but until this Run 2 The Sun project, I’d never heard more than a couple songs from dude. But he sent this over a couple days ago, and I was thoroughly impressed. As he says himself, he “makes music and tries to sculpt real life into beautiful compositions”.

The raspy tone to his voice (which will probably draw some Yo Gotti comparisons) and strong delivery combined with the soothing production, almost seems like two things that shouldn’t go together…but somehow they do. And very well.

The Memphis to Maryland product is also releasing another compilation sometime soon called Chase the Dreams, Not the Competition, and you can find that over here too when it drops. Below is the title track, for a taste of what J. Ferb has to offer.
