So my new hobby…interest if you will…is listening to music on Myspace, looking for stuff I haven’t heard. Because these (lol other) blog sites I normally go to for music just haven’t been pumpin out the tunes lately. So I stumbled across this guy (see above) in the process of trying to find a crazy (like seriously crazy) rapper/poet guy I met a few weeks ago. But that’s a totally different story for another day.
Pison Flo, (Pishon Flo to be exact) has the special combination of talent and skill to not only deliver conscious rap but also produce songs that people would want to listen to in the club. This 21 year old is destined to “bridge..the gap between Christian and World music”, and Pison Flo has definitely already convinced me that he’s the one to do it. So I’m giving you guys his favorite song, my favorite song, and your future favorite song “Dream On” along with another track called “Ride” just to show you how diverse he is.
